Adventure World

Adventure World Website

Sorry... I know I haven’t blogged for AGES!!!!

So a recap of what I haven’t blogged about...

  1. Leaving Mandurah (which was boring, nothing really of interest)
  2. All of the days I stayed at home
  3. Grandma and I went on a REALLY long walk...
  4. I finished my book 88 Lime Street and am reading new book now, called A Court of Thorns and Roses
  5. Stayed at home for ages...
  6. Went to Adventure which I’ll tell you about now....
So one of my friends, T, invited four of us to go to Adventure World before the school year started... WAAA!!! 😰 HIGH SCHOOL, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Anyway...

I payed her $50 which is £28.53, as the entry fees. The rides didn’t cost. T’s dad (my friend friends dad) picked us up. E, J, H and T were already in the car. We waited in line to get in, it was super long! We found a locker to put our bags in and lay out towels on a patch of grass. G, T’s dad, guarded our stuff while we ran around excited! We went on the water rides first. On the first ride waiting in line made me feel sick, so after that one I wasn’t sure I could wait again. I felt bad, so I said I’d sit with G and wait for them to get back. I was looking for him, and then I heard all my friends calling me. They said the line was too long anyway and didn’t want to leave me. YAY! So we went into the pool and I felt ALOT better. We dragged G along with us to the Kracken, a water slide. The biggest one in the park. The line was SO LONG, we were in line for 45minutes for a ride that was 45seconds... 👍😤

The Burger 🍔

Remember this photo:

Well, I kept bugging mum that I wanted a Really nice burger they had. So she made a deal with me that while Grandma got pizza we could go to the Mexican restaurant. So we collected and the size of it! Wow. I opened the box and it was huge...... the burger was MASSIVE. I still ate all of it, hehe!

It was SO goood

#BURGER 4 EVER!!! Ha lolll

The restaurant

On Monday we all looked forward to the nights dining. We were going to Flics, named after the owner, Felicity.

Time to go,

We searched the area looking for it and  finally reached it. We got a table and a really friendly and smiling girl that was Scottish was our waitress. They said that the menu was kind of tapas and our table suited around five different dishes. We got AMAZING gnocchi, scallops, crab cakes, chips and squid. Yummmmmm

After, we ordered all 4 deserts and passed them along the table, getting serves. They were soooo good.

(I had pictures but might have accidentally deleted them....)

Yup, 😔 sigh

Any way! Love dining there and I think every one else did too.

Mandurah Holiday, 2

Sunday,

I woke up at 5 as the morning light woke me up. I hadn’t closed my curtains, intentionally, so I could see the sun rise. I went back to sleep and later woke up at 8.

We ate breakfast on the balcony, with the ocean view to enjoy.

After breakfast mum and I went to the pool. The jacuzzi was packed so I swam in the main pool. We didn’t go in the sea. I finished swimming, as the water got to cold and I went back to the hotel to get a ice cream. I ate it in front of the pool while mum read a book.

We decided that we hadn’t been to the market and shops, we always enjoyed browsing the crowded place. It was no far distance and we walked there like always.

We also saw a Mexican restaurant.

Then after lunch, we tested the spa bath. The bubbles were accidentally on, while the tub filled up, causing them to spray every where, LOL. I walked around in the dressing gown they supplied for ages. I got changed for dinner.

Cheers

Mandurah, The Beginning

Grandma, JL, mum and I had plans to go to Mandurah for the holidays. It is a great hotel, it has a infinity pool that has a gate leading right out to the beach that’s just in front and is close to the town. So your hotel room had a great view if you faced the sea, the other side showed the river and the town. But every time mum and I shared the dark little room that had single beds with out the windows, and mum had fed up with the bad room, without the view, so she hoped we got the corner room with both bedrooms with windows. We’d go for six days starting on Saturday day. On Friday G and JL decided to come round at 11am, giving us plenty of time to pack. We stuffed there boot with luggage. The body board would fit so that sat as a shield in front of me and grandma, as we sat in the back while mum drove G’s car. I put my head phones on while JL checked the cricket scores and grandma and mum chatted. We also played a game were swing certain vehicles or animals, got you points. Mum one that one, but only cause I was zoned out listening to music. At least she didn’t se a camel, they’re 100 points!

We stopped at the Mandurah Forem, ate sushi for lunch, oh yeah, and then we lost JL. We went to the toilet and told JL to wait for us on a seat and then we came back, HE WAS GONE!?!? Me and mum rushed around in opposite directions searching while G called him. The place was so noisey he didn’t hear his phone ringing. I ran to check the car, which mum had checked but I doubled checked, and he was there. I ran back to tell them and JL explained he went looking for the news paper, couldn’t find it and came to the car. Yay! Found him. We got back on the road and shortly arrived.

We went to check in at the lobby hoping for a corner apartment when suddenly... the lady at reception informed us that we would have the PENT HOUSE!!!!!! Apparently the manager had shuffled around some rooms and we got it! Ahhhh!

I’m sure you’d like to see... how about a tour!

And the balcony...

The rooms...

           And there bathroom,

              Mums Sweet...

            Oh yeah, her study...

        My bedroom and toilet...

We marviled at the size and beauty of the pent house. The view is gorgeous!

I claimed the sweet, and then mum chuckled and took it! She said we could share. Grrrr! So I took the third bedroom, it was the worst one but had the best view. I was just happy I got my own.

We all unpacked and lounged around while G prepared dinner.

               Tuna Pasta Bake

And salad with ice cream for dessert

The sun went down and we watched a Father Brown murder mystery! And we went to bed.

Friday, a Grand Lunch

While my mum works, I stay at home reading and drawing. Normally I would watch tv, but I really want this video game! But mum believes that once I get it I’ll never get off! So I’m proving I don’t need electronics. I still go on me iPhone but I don’t play games.

So I spent my days at home.

Remember the time Grandma took me to see a movie as a Christmas present, well it was mums turn for a after Christmas present. She chose Kalis. A fish restaurant and market. We reserved a table and went there on Friday for dinner!

We had a platter, which I gobbled most off it up, MWHAHAHA! Later we ordered kids fish and chips, lobster for Grandma, and mum and JL had something similar to fish and chips, but more elegant. I insisted we had dessert! I ordered a ice cream cylinder, with meringue and sitting on a almond crumble base. Raspberry sauce was all over the plate! Mum and JL both had tiramisu and G swore off desserts.

NOW THE HIGH LIGHT OF THE DAY! When we left the restaurant and noticed a drunken girl crouched behind a pillar peeing. Her friends her running around, being wild! She must have been really desperate! Mum burst out laughing! We hurried of to the car. Said good bye to Grandma and JL and went home.

Kalis is great place to dine!
