Mandurah, The Beginning

Grandma, JL, mum and I had plans to go to Mandurah for the holidays. It is a great hotel, it has a infinity pool that has a gate leading right out to the beach that’s just in front and is close to the town. So your hotel room had a great view if you faced the sea, the other side showed the river and the town. But every time mum and I shared the dark little room that had single beds with out the windows, and mum had fed up with the bad room, without the view, so she hoped we got the corner room with both bedrooms with windows. We’d go for six days starting on Saturday day. On Friday G and JL decided to come round at 11am, giving us plenty of time to pack. We stuffed there boot with luggage. The body board would fit so that sat as a shield in front of me and grandma, as we sat in the back while mum drove G’s car. I put my head phones on while JL checked the cricket scores and grandma and mum chatted. We also played a game were swing certain vehicles or animals, got you points. Mum one that one, but only cause I was zoned out listening to music. At least she didn’t se a camel, they’re 100 points!

We stopped at the Mandurah Forem, ate sushi for lunch, oh yeah, and then we lost JL. We went to the toilet and told JL to wait for us on a seat and then we came back, HE WAS GONE!?!? Me and mum rushed around in opposite directions searching while G called him. The place was so noisey he didn’t hear his phone ringing. I ran to check the car, which mum had checked but I doubled checked, and he was there. I ran back to tell them and JL explained he went looking for the news paper, couldn’t find it and came to the car. Yay! Found him. We got back on the road and shortly arrived.

We went to check in at the lobby hoping for a corner apartment when suddenly... the lady at reception informed us that we would have the PENT HOUSE!!!!!! Apparently the manager had shuffled around some rooms and we got it! Ahhhh!

I’m sure you’d like to see... how about a tour!

And the balcony...

The rooms...

              Mums Sweet...

            Oh yeah, her study...

        My bedroom and toilet...

We marviled at the size and beauty of the pent house. The view is gorgeous!

I claimed the sweet, and then mum chuckled and took it! She said we could share. Grrrr! So I took the third bedroom, it was the worst one but had the best view. I was just happy I got my own.

We all unpacked and lounged around while G prepared dinner.

               Tuna Pasta Bake

And salad with ice cream for dessert

The sun went down and we watched a Father Brown murder mystery! And we went to bed.
