The Week After Christmas, part two!

It seems for EVER since I last posted and wrote more blog, and that’s because of my two day holiday.

Wednesday night,

On Wednesday night I got a call from a friend I was going to high school with if I wanted to have a sleepover at Naval Base.

I wasn’t sure how to explain what it is, this is my try:

Naval Base is a beach area with a place filled with hand built shacks. Bugs crawl around in the showers and you need big gas tanks if you want gas. Ice cream trucks come every day and the water is really beautiful! Every one is SO friendly and there is no WiFi, pros and cons. I was never just inside doing nothing but watch T.V.

Back to Wednesday night,

After receiving the invitation, I accepted.

Thursday and Friday,

Thursday started with my friends mum picking me up from my house. My friend and I chatted while we drove to the shack. My friends brother and dad had gone to collect the boat. When we arrived I was keen to got for a swim, because the beach was at your door step, but every one was unpacking and getting things ready. All three of us played a intense board game, my friend and I scootered around the shack site and we took turns on her iPad and coloured in a complicated colouring book.

FINALLY the boys arrived! My friends brother had invited his friend so they were already there. But that meant that we had to share the DELICIOUS 🀀 chocolate brownies and the incredible lemon slices... anyway, we ate dinner and the day ended as we fell asleep, though my friend snores... Don’t Tell Her!

We woke up at 10. The boys had left at six to go on the boat. We planned to go swimming and go body boarding, so I piled on sun screen ☀️ cause mum insisted! (Turns out when I came home she was sun burnt and I wasn’t! IRONIC!) My friends brother came home burnt to a crisp, his toes, neck, right cheek and chin were all toasted. He was limping around in pain. I was meant to be picked up at 5pm when my mum finished work, but she called and asked if I wanted to stay for longer, and I did so she was gonna pick me up Saturday at 11am. We baked cookies πŸͺ for some guests and they were really mushy... this was at dinner 🍴 and we had already eaten mains, so we had cookies for dessert. While the parents eat our cookies πŸͺ, another child came to hang with us, he was in highschool like my friends brother and we played with them. Eventually every one left and we got ready for bed.

Saturday morning,

We woke up at a more sensible time than 10, and proceeded to the kitchen, where the boys had finished the cereal. YAY πŸ˜”πŸ˜‘!  So my friend and I made toast, we turned on the stove because the shake didn’t have a toaster. We did a great job of burning it and put way to much Vegie Might, or however you spell it, on and it tasted gross! We are while the boys were figuring how to make a DIY anchor, they were going out on the kayak ⚓️ and wanted one for some reason because they where also spear fishing. They used rope and tied a brick to it. I have no idea if they caught anything because i left before they got back. Though before I left, my friend and friends mum were going swimming. I didn’t feel like so I made sandcastles. My friend got bored and decided to make a πŸ›€ bath! Out of sand. She dug a hole but the tide kept washing it away. So she built a barricade to keep it out. Eventually mum arrived and we left the beach. I got all of my stuff and said good πŸ‘‹πŸ» bye. And that was the end of my 2 and a half holiday...

The Week After Christmas

              And Boxing Day...

Wednesday,

Mum forgot that grandma had arranged  lunch in Fremantle at a place called Bread in Common. We arrived at lunch time ready to eat. Grandma spoke highly of it after reading some good reviews.

It looked like this...

And...

The place bakes it’s one bread, makes it’s on butter and sorbet and ice cream! Luckily for us they had a lot of Vegetarian and Pescatarian options! First we got

Home backed bread with sweet garlic butter and what ever is in the white bowl!

We had a cheese platter, MmMMm! And king fish with watermelon pieces! Some vegetables and a glass of Watermelon, apple and lime juice. Then...  desert!

The yellow dish had a nice pineapple cake thing (oops don’t remember the name) with coconut sorbet! The purple dish was pannacota, with cherries and merengue! I adored the yellow dish! And gobbled it up. After we bought some bread and later would enjoy it for dinner.Of course the day ended with grandma saying she’d introduce it to her girl friends, as we drove home.

Boxing Day, and Kangaroo punching

Boxing Day started with mum watching cricket and me in my bedroom sitting by the chargers on my fluffy rug watching Netflix. Then mum came in and said we should go to see the new star war movie. I thought that it wasn’t out yet and told mum she must be confused. So she showed me Garden City Hoyt’s website and I was mistaken... oops!

So we were very excited to see it, plus it had Ray in, a fave character! We had lunch in the food court, blimey it was PACKED! Us and another group of three raced to a table, the dad of a little boy wasn’t happy about us sitting there, but we weren’t going any where! He just had to suck it up! I had McDonalds and mum had Indian. After we went to the theater, grabbed a magnum ice cream each, a rare delicious treat! We walked into the last cinema and the sign sad Extreme screen, we were intrigued to find out what this Extreme screen was. The seats were comfier and bigger and the screen was larger. Star Wars was amazing!

Later at night we watched Dr Who, the Christmas special and now we have to wait another 9 MONTHS! Ahhhh! After watching Doctor Who we went to bed... so interesting. Although I have to wait for a really long time for a show I LOVE, it’s worth it!

Christmas Day

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Today JL and grandma came round for Christmas lunch!

I thawed out the blinis and added creamer cheese and fresh kalis caviar!

We had lunch in the garden.

Mum did the BBQ. It was barramundi.

Desert was fresh mango!

Though before all of that we opened presents, grandma also opened her Birthday present! The weather was splendid and boy or Thello (his real name but we just call him boy) enjoyed a Christmas treat of caviar. We pulled open Christmas crackers and told bad jokes from inside. My party hat kept falling of as it was to big for my head, and I became a photographer!

And we added a Christmas decoration all the way from Yorkshire from my great aunt.

I hope you had a GREAT Christmas as well!! Later I open my presents from dad over Skype! So MANY. I'll happily wait for next years Christmas because this one ended so well!

The Week Before Christmas

After finally putting up the Christmas tree, adding the lights and crowding the presents around it, suddenly the week before Christmas came apon us and this is what happened...

Monday,

As a early Christmas present from my grandma, I had a choice to go any where, with no questions asked. So I asked if we could see a movie at Hoyts cinema. We went and saw Wonder. Wonder was originally a book, I've read it and thought it was extremely good. Grandma and I ate sushi for lunch then shared 16 cherries (8 each) before entering the cold cinema. The place was crowded with people and popcorn spilled onto the isles. We sat next to the isle in seat 3&4 in the 'J' row. Many ads played before showing the production of a boy named Auggust Pullman, or Auggie, a 5 grade boy with a unfortunate facial deformities. After having around 30 surgeries and being homeschooled his whole life his parents decided it was time for him to go to middle school. We watched the movie 'till the end. I laughed, I most definitely cried and by the end my legs just hurt! But it was a great film and I recommend it.

Tuesday,
Only one event happened on Tuesday, when you are on holidays some days you do nothing except lounge around, like Tuesday. But I still loved it because one of my BFFs lives in N.Z and today I caught up with her, YAY!!! Just doing some BFFing. We played Roblox, drew, play role play games and chatted! This was a great time for me to catch up with her!!!

Wednesday,
Speaking of catching up with friends, as I have just graduated primary school, all of my friends are going in different directions ! So one of my BFFs mums decided to throw a pool party! Mum was at work so I walked there, meh, wasn’t too faraway. When all seven of us
arrived (yes, there are only seven year six girls because parents and fancy private schools stole the other ten away, hrumph) we splashed in the freezing water, but we didn’t care because it was a BOILING HOT DAY! We all got to cold and grabbed snacks. Then decided we missed the water and went back in and played with the HUNDREDS of pool toys. Later we ate some cake 🍰 and played murderer in the dark. Next all of us went back to the school as it was across the road and reminisced all of the good times. One by one we all left. We hugged said farewells and watched each other drive away. I was the last to leave as mum though pick up time was 5:30 not 5o’clock... πŸ˜”sigh. This was a great day to say goodbyes before we all would embark on the next stage of our educational journey.

Thursday,
Grandma has many ambitions, and some of those are based around me. Like she has wanted me to learn how to knit, sew, cook and have a blog. Now I know how to knit a scarf and I can sew, so today was cooking and bloggings turn. We got on my mums laptop and started blogging, ugh so many hippups, what’s the name, I forgot how to do this, wait... we did something wrong, how do you add pictures, etc... After blogging we made blinis, pronounced blin-e’s. On Christmas Day we would eat Blinis covered with cream cheese and topped with Kalis caviar, SCRUMPTIOUS! So we made them and froze them so they’d stay good. I’d never actually think I’d like blogging!

Friday,
Friday was a whole NEW story! Mum didn’t what the blog on her Google account, so I may have deleted the blog all together. So now we had to re-do the blog! Grandma came round and we sorted everything out, kept the name, got the same pics and I re-wrote the same topics, meh I didn’t care! Every thing was now on my phone and iPad. I started writing everything on my iPad then it glitched out, sigh. So now I just do it on my phone. Later we baked mins pies (I think that’s how you spell it) and they overflowed in the oven, but they still taste good cause I got to eat a deformed one. Then seeing as it was mums work lunch my grandparents and I went to Kalis for lunch. I had squid strips battared with chips, and M and JL shared a big platter. JL had tiramisu M had a Creme BrΓ»lΓ©e and I had  lemon ice cream with an almond base, YUM! Friday was just like Thursday, but better!

Saturday
Saterday has come and after making Christmas cards to my BFF in N.Z and all five English relatives I forgot about my mums and grandparents!! So I turned on Netflix and sat in the study right at my desk, right in front of the window so I had a lot of light, I set to work! Btw I LOVE making Christmas and birthday cards!!! I have a theme this year, with me as a elf and in every card I’m doing something cheeky. Now I was stealing Santa’s cookies πŸͺ and leaving him carrots πŸ₯• I only got grandmas + JLs card, mums still left. After I played Roblox and waited for dinner. Love weekends!

Sunday,
Tomorrow was Christmas πŸŽ„πŸŽ…πŸ»πŸ€ΆπŸ»πŸ¦ŒπŸͺπŸ₯›πŸ₯•!! And now was Christmas Eve! But I don’t do anything special on this day. Eh, it’s not the best day.
  • It’s not really Christmas
  • You can’t sleep because your too excited
  • I don’t do anything
  • It’s your day before getting presents and it’s harder then ever to wait
  • Last, you’ve just remembered some ones gift hasn’t been wrapped, you didn’t make the card, a restaurant wasn’t booked or you forgot to cook something

But it’s all worth it because tomorrow is CHRISTMAS!!! So today I finished my mums Xmas card. Then I played Roblox while video calling my sister. Wish me good like getting to sleep!
